"Automation" can mean a lot of things to a lot of different people. This session will focus on IT Process Automation, where we automate tasks based on things like monitoring incidents, and Service Request Management (request for AD access, request for phone number, etc). The tools to complete these tasks would be an automation tool like System Center Orchestrator, Service Management Automation, and Azure Automation. This session will focus more on automation definition, process, governance, value and less technical. You will learn about the following:
- What is IT Process Automation?
- Governance over your automation;
- Release and Management of Automations
- Measuring the value of an automation
