Azure Active Directory - Premium Unwrapped
Limited Capacity filling up

More and more Microsoft technologies are hooking into Azure Active Directory, whether you like it or not (Azure Stack is a nice example, Intune is another one...). While at first, Microsoft gives the impression Azure AD configuration is super easy, a lot can go wrong under the hood. This session will start with how one organization can setup a sync with the on-prem AD and Azure AD by using ADConnect, followed by explaining the differences between ADConnect and ADFS; next to that, Peter will detail the different features of Azure AD Premium, like application integration, Multi-Factor Authentication and Premium Reports. And as usual in Peter's sessions, spiced up with a lot of live demos.

Everything you want to know about BIOS/UEFI Settings (Repeat Session)
Limited Capacity seats available

BIOS and UEFI settings play an important role in today's systems management. Often times, new systems are built and go out the door without any changes or modifications to the default settings. In fact, if a model is deployed over a period of time then chances are there will be several different BIOS/UEFI versions floating around in the environment for the same model. Rarely do system administrators update the BIOS/UEFI after a system has been deployed.

Today, it is not only important to create a BIOS/UEFI standard for each supported hardware model but it is something that should be mandatory. Otherwise, new security features in Window 10 may not be possible without doing an expensive full wipe and load of the operating system.

In this session, you will learn how to report on and monitor using System Center Configuration Manager the BIOS/UEFI settings for each of the three major PC vendors: Dell, Lenovo and HP. We will show you which settings are important as it relates to the new Windows 10 security features and how to automatically set them using the right tools. This session with be packed with demos and provide you with the information you need in order to better manage the systems in your environment.

Device Guard: How To Implement and Stay Out Of The News
Limited Capacity filling up

Securing endpoints against the bad guys takes work.  As attacks become more lethal, the risks increase.  Endpoint security needs to be modernized in order to meet the challenges.  It's not easy, but organizations have to start somewhere and Device Guard in Windows 10 is the best place to get started.  Although #DeviceGuard is not trending on Twitter, it is truly game-changing technology in endpoint security.

The system management professional can play a significant role in this effort, as there is already familiarity with some of the desktop and management technologies Device Guard leverages, for example: Hyper-V, UEFI & Secure Boot, ConfigMgr, Group Policy.  Like these technologies, Device Guard requires the system management professional be willing to refine and improve existing processes, and incorporate new ones into their operational practices.  Device Guard will accelerate the transformation already taking place in IT where the system management professional is becoming a strategic partner in Enterprise Security.

In this session, learn what it takes to implement Device Guard and help your organization Stay out of the News!!
